Just a quick note that RAAM is done for Team Strong Heart and we placed 3rd in the 4 man team out of about 39 teams that started, and behind 2 experienced teams. Overall, the team did absolutely amazing and it was an honor to be part of it.
I will be updating this over the weekend with a complete download.

It is go time!
Only a few more hours until we will hear "Gentlemen, start pedaling!" or something like that at the start of the RAAM. Wow, time flies.
Yesterday was super busy all day--getting the cars all covered with decals, rule meeting, banquet, buying food, etc.
A few pics below of myself (with my eyes closed at the ocean), part of the crew, and the 4 person teams at the banquet.
I plan to post a picture of myself in about 6-8 days at the that other ocean off of NJ!
Rock on

Sorry for all the delays, as I had a summer class that was meeting every day! Ouch!
Now I am off to the start of the RAAM ride (aka Race Across America). Our team starts in Oceanside CA and ends in Atlantic City NJ, about 3,100 miles later! There are 4 riders and 10 crew. I am a crew member helping with some Z Health mobility work, vehicle driver, gopher, nutrition, etc. The riders alternate relay style and someone is riding 24 hours a day.

I will have a full report once I am back in about 2 weeks.
